As some of you may be well aware, the media lately has been making a big deal about guns being transported from America to Mexico. These guns were alledgedly provided by gun stores who are providers of armaments to the Mexican drug cartels. As a result of this the United States government passed laws providing restrictions on the sell of firearms of any calibre of .22 or larger.

Now the government is caught in the act of facilitating the drug cartels acquisition of firearms and the laws have already passed. To make things worse president Obama is wanting to place Andrew Traver, a well known anti-gun zealot, in the postion of chief of the BATFE. This could have a devestating impact on the right of Americans to own firearms.
On a side note, there is no such thing as an 'assault weapon' it is a fictitious term coined by liberal media groups to inspire the fear of firearms into the American public. Even the official definition doesn't make any sense.

war weapon: a weapon designed for use in warfare, especially when used in noncombat situations such as terrorism
So basicly... An 'assault weapon' is a weapon designed for noncombative warfare? Or is an 'assault weapon' a military weapon (read fully automatic) that is used by terrorists? Does this mean that what category a firearm falls into is defined by the way it is being used at that particular moment? So any firearm ever made could possibly be an 'assault weapon' according to this. Think about that... Now we are making some progress in understanding the liberal agenda.
Do America a favor and write your senators telling them to oppose the nomination of Andrew Traver.
